Indictment of Robert Lavoie for the Murder of James Dale
Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella, State Police Colonel Mark B. Hall, and Department of Corrections Commissioner Helen E. Hanks announce that resident Robert Lavoie (age 57), has been indicted by the Coos County Grand Jury in connection with the death of resident James Dale (age 65).
Mr. Lavoie was indicted on one count of first-degree murder for purposefully causing the death of Mr. Dale by striking him with a metal pipe.
Mr. Lavoie is in custody. An arraignment has been scheduled for January 3, 2024, at 10:45 a.m. in the Coos County Superior Court.
The charges and allegations against Mr. Lavoie are merely accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
