Additional Information in the Death of Christine Falzone

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella, State Police Colonel Mark B. Hall, and Ossipee Police Chief Donald Babbin announce the following additional information regarding the death of Christine Falzone (age 33).

On December 17, 2023, at approximately 11:44 a.m., the authorities received a 911 call for a report of a woman unconscious and not breathing at 332 Water Village Road in Ossipee. Officers and paramedics responded to that location and encountered Christine Falzone with multiple injuries. Ms. Falzone was ultimately pronounced dead.

Responding officers also encountered William Kelly (age 38) at the same location, where he lived with Ms. Falzone. Mr. Kelly was taken into custody and arrested on one count of Second Degree Murder pursuant to RSA 630:1-b, I(b) for the murder of Ms. Falzone. He is currently held without bail.

An autopsy has been conducted on the body of Ms. Falzone. The autopsy was conducted by Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Mitchell Weinberg. Dr. Weinberg determined that Ms. Falzone’s cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries, and her manner of death was homicide.

The autopsy also revealed that Ms. Falzone was approximately 35 to 37 weeks pregnant at the time of her death. No decision has been made with regard to criminal charges related to the death of the unborn child as the investigation is ongoing.

The charges and allegations against Mr. Kelly are merely accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
