Jeffrey Renaud Sentenced to 13 to 40 years in New Hampshire State Prison on Three Counts of Sale of a Controlled Drug, Subsequent Offenses

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella, Drug Task Force Commander Ellen M. Arcieri, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Mark B. Hall, and United States Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent-in-Charge Brian D. Boyle announce that Jeffrey Renaud, age 55, of North Stratford, New Hampshire, has pled guilty to three counts of sale of a controlled drug, subsequent offenses. The remaining charges were nolle prossed as part of the plea agreement. The Court sentenced Jeffrey Renaud as follows:

  • 10 to 20 years in the New Hampshire State Prison, stand committed, with a recommendation for him to be assessed for drug and alcohol treatment needs, among other conditions, on the first count of sale of controlled drug, subsequent offense, for selling a quantity of five (5) ounces or more of methamphetamine on June 28, 2022 in Plymouth, New Hampshire;
  • 10 to 20 years in the New Hampshire State Prison, stand committed, with 7 years of the minimum suspended for 10 years from his release with a recommendation for him to be assessed for drug and alcohol treatment needs, among other conditions, to run consecutively to the above charge, on a second count of sale of controlled drug, subsequent offense, for selling a quantity of five (5) ounces or more of methamphetamine on July 6, 2022 in Epping, New Hampshire; and
  • 10 to 20 years in the New Hampshire State Prison, which was all suspended for 10 years upon this release for incarceration, to run consecutively to the above charges, on a third count of sale of controlled drug, subsequent offense, for selling a quantity of one (1) ounce or more of methamphetamine on June 22, 2022 in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The evidence in this case established that Jeffrey Renaud was trafficking pound quantities of methamphetamine and quantities of other types of drugs in Grafton, Coos, Rockingham, and Hillsborough Counties. In this investigation, Jeffrey Renaud sold on multiple separate occasions to either a confidential informant and/or an undercover investigator. The apprehension of Jeffrey Renaud resulted in over 1,200 grams (about 3 pounds) of methamphetamine, and various quantities of other types of drugs being removed from the community. Following his arrest, Jeffrey Renaud admitted to having been selling drugs for at least the five to six months prior to his arrest.

The investigation and resolution of this case was the result of the collaborative efforts of the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force, the New Hampshire State Police’s Narcotic and Investigations Unit, United States Drug Enforcement Administration, and Manchester Police Department.
