Former Dusty Old Cars Owner Stephan Condodemetraky Sentenced to State Prison for Stealing Over $115,300 from Six Victims

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella announces that Stephan Condodemetraky, 54, of Bedford, New Hampshire has been sentenced in Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District to serve 1.5 – 5 years in the New Hampshire State Prison on four felony counts (three class A and one class B) of theft by misapplication of property. Mr. Condodemetracky was also sentenced on two Class A counts of theft by misapplication of property to an additional 7.5 – 15 years in the New Hampshire State Prison, all of which is suspended until 10 years after his release from incarceration. In addition, Mr. Condodemetracky has been ordered to pay restitution to six victims, the amount of which will be determined after further hearing.

Mr. Condodemetraky was the founder, owner, and president of the now-defunct companies that did business as "Dusty Old Cars." In January, Mr. Condodemetraky was convicted of stealing $115,382.69 that he obtained when Dusty Old Cars sold six vehicles that had been consigned with the company. The jury found that, instead of paying those sale proceeds to the individuals who had consigned the cars, Mr. Condodemetraky used that money as his own.

This case was investigated by Investigator Frederick Lulka and prosecuted by Assistant Attorneys General Kevin P.J. Scura and James Romeyn ("JR") Davis, each of the Consumer Protection and Antitrust Bureau.

The Consumer Protection and Antitrust Bureau investigates and prosecutes fraud against New Hampshire consumers.
