Attorney General John M. Formella, State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes, and Haverhill Police Chief David Appleby announce that an investigation is currently ongoing into the suspicious death of an adult male in Haverhill.

Early this morning, police responded to a business in Haverhill, New Hampshire, for a report of the discovery of a dead body in the building, and there found a deceased male. Identification of this person is being withheld at this time pending identifying and notifying his next of kin. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

The circumstances surrounding this man's death, including how he came to be in the business where he was found deceased, are under active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available while protecting the integrity of that investigation.

No further news releases are anticipated until after the deceased's family has been notified, and the autopsy completed.
