Concord, NH – New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella announces an update on the status of the ongoing investigation into the Youth Development Center (YDC).

Lucien Poulette (age 65) of Auburn, NH, has been indicted by the Hillsborough County Grand Jury in connection with the on-going YDC investigation.

Mr. Poulette was indicted for the following additional offenses:

• Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault – three counts involving two different individuals.

In addition, three complaints were filed by the Office of the Attorney General charging Lucien Poulette with misdemeanor offenses of sexual assault.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

The Task Force will continue its mission to investigate child abuse allegations occurring at YDC/SYSC. This investigation remains on-going and active.
