Disclosure of the Officers' Names from the June 14, 2021 Officer-Involved Shooting Incident in Pittsfield, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella releases the names of the officers involved in the incident that took place on Monday, June 14, 2021, in Pittsfield, New Hampshire, in which Anthony Hannon (age 52) was shot and killed.

The members of the Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit who discharged their firearms during this incident were: Officer Jesse Colby of the Henniker Police Department, Sergeant Joseph DiGeorge of the Pittsfield Police Department, and Officer Matthew Doyon, Officer Almadin Dzelic, Sergeant Craig Levesque, and Officer Nicholas McNutt of the Concord Police Department.

Officer Colby has been a law enforcement officer for approximately fifteen years. He joined the Henniker Police Department in 2015. Prior to that, Officer Colby worked for the Concord Police Department from 2005 to 2008, for the Department of Defense for one and a half years, and was enlisted in the United States Army for five years.

Sergeant DiGeorge has been a law enforcement officer for approximately eighteen years. He joined the Pittsfield Police Department in 2005. Prior to that, Sergeant DiGeorge worked for the Milton Police Department for three years.

Officer Doyon has been a law enforcement officer for approximately three years. He joined the Concord Police Department in 2017.

Officer Dzelic has been a law enforcement officer for approximately sixteen years. He joined the Concord Police Department in 2005.

Sergeant Levesque has been a law enforcement officer for approximately seventeen years. He joined the Concord Police Department in 2003.

Officer McNutt has been a law enforcement officer for approximately eleven years. He joined the Concord Police Department in 2013. Prior to that, Officer McNutt worked for the Hopkinton Police Department from 2010 to 2013.

Additionally, three members of the Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit discharged less-than-lethal weapons during this incident: Detective Kevin Faria of the Bradford Police Department, and Sergeant Christian Lovejoy and Detective Thomas Sheveland of the Concord Police Department. The less-than-lethal weapons consisted of 40 millimeter direct impact weapons and a beanbag shotgun.

Detective Faria has been a law enforcement officer for approximately nine years. He joined the Bradford Police Department in 2015. Prior to that, Detective Faria worked for the Goffstown Police Department from 2012 to 2015.

Sergeant Christian Lovejoy has been a law enforcement officer for approximately ten years. He joined the Concord Police Department in 2011.

Detective Sheveland has been a law enforcement officer for approximately eight years. He joined the Concord Police Department in 2016. Prior to that, Detective Sheveland worked for the Pembroke Police Department from 2013 to 2016.

The exact circumstances surrounding this incident remain actively under investigation. No further updates are expected until the investigation is completed.
