Concord, NH – New Hampshire Deputy Attorney General Jane E. Young announces further information regarding the murder of Lynn Marie Viana (age 53) in Derry, New Hampshire on April 4, 2021.

Late in the evening, Thursday, April 8, 2021, Manoel Viana (age 57) died at a Boston hospital from injuries sustained during the April 4, 2021, incident at 27 Mt. Pleasant Street, Derry, New Hampshire.

The cause and manner of Mr. Viana's death are pending the complete results of an autopsy conducted by the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, which took place on April 9, 2021.

The investigation into the facts and circumstances precipitating Ms. Viana's murder remains ongoing.
