Travis Hood Arrested for Fentanyl Sale

Concord, NH – Deputy Attorney General Jane E. Young and State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes announce that Travis Hood (age 27) of Berlin, New Hampshire, was arrested on March 11, 2021, on a warrant alleging that he sold fentanyl on February 4, 11, and 14, 2021 in Berlin, New Hampshire.

Members of the New Hampshire State Police arrested Mr. Hood after he was observed to be the passenger in a vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 93 in Hooksett, New Hampshire. When he was arrested, Mr. Hood was found to be in possession of substance, believed to be approximately 900 grams (2 pounds) of fentanyl. It is believed he was transporting that fentanyl to the Berlin, New Hampshire area for redistribution. Thus, additional charges are expected against Mr. Hood.

Mr. Hood is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. today in the Coos County Superior Court.

The charges and allegations against Mr. Hood are merely accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
