Public Hearing Regarding Change of Control Notice Submitted by the RiverWoods Company at Exeter, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces that the Charitable Trusts Unit will be accepting public comment on a change of control notice submitted by The RiverWoods Company at Exeter, New Hampshire ("RiverWoods Exeter") in connection with its proposed corporate reorganization.

The Charitable Trusts Unit will also host a public hearing on Thursday, October 22, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Residents of RiverWoods Exeter may register to attend in person by adding their names in the sign-up book available at each campus. Additionally, residents of RiverWoods Exeter and members of the public may sign-up to participate remotely via Zoom by emailing RiverWoods@montagnecom.com.

On April 24, 2020, RiverWoods Exeter filed the change of control notice with the New Hampshire Attorney General's office in accordance with state law, which requires that the Director of Charitable Trusts review acquisition transactions involving health care charitable trusts.
