Autopsy Results and Victim's Identity in Stratham, New Hampshire Murder

Concord NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces the identity and the results of an autopsy conducted on Catherine Heppner, age 46, of Exeter, New Hampshire, who was killed in Stratham, New Hampshire on February 9, 2020.

New Hampshire Associate Medical Examiner Christine James has determined that the cause of Ms. Heppner's death was stab wounds, and that her manner of death is homicide.

Robert Pavao (age 20), of Berwick, Maine has been arrested and charged with seconddegree murder for causing Ms. Heppner's death.

The investigation into Ms. Heppner's death remains active and ongoing.
