Hunter Berry Arrested on First Degree Assault Charge in Whitefield, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces that Hunter Berry, age 21, was arrested on Friday, February 7, 2020, on one count of first degree assault. The charge stems from an incident which occurred on February 3, 2020, in Whitefield, where Mr. Berry recklessly caused serious bodily injury to a child less than 13 years of age by physically assaulting a 5month-old child.

Mr. Berry was arraigned on Monday, February 10, 2020, in Coos Superior Court and is being held on preventative detention.

The charges and allegations contained therein are merely accusations, and Mr. Berry is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
