Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces that Thomas J. Donovan, Director of Charitable Trusts, will host a public hearing on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Spaulding High School, 130 Wakefield Street, Rochester, New Hampshire, regarding the proposed transaction to sell the charitable assets of Frisbie Memorial Hospital ("Frisbie") to FMH Health Services, LLC. FMH Health Services, LLC is an affiliate of HCA Healthcare, Inc. ("HCA"), a for-profit corporation. Members of the public are encouraged to attend the public hearing.

On October 23, 2019, Frisbie filed a notice of the proposed acquisition transaction with the Attorney General's Office. State law requires that the Director of Charitable Trusts review acquisition transactions involving health care charitable trusts.
