Arrest of William Argie for the murder of Maureen Argie in Londonderry, New Hampshire, on or about April 4, 2019

Concord, NH – Deputy Attorney General Jane E. Young, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher J. Wagner, and Londonderry Police Chief William R. Hart, Jr. announce that William Argie (age 46) has been arrested for the murder of his wife Maureen Argie (age 39), at their home in Londonderry on or about April 4, 2019.

William Argie has been charged with two alternative counts of second degree murder, RSA 630:1-b, one for knowingly causing the death of Maureen Argie by strangling and/or smothering her, and the other for recklessly causing the death of Maureen Argie, under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life, by strangling and/or smothering her.

William Argie is scheduled to be arraigned at Rockingham County Superior Court on June 10, 2019, at 1:00 p.m.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations, and William Argie is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
