Death in Manchester, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Manchester Police Chief Carlo T. Capano announce that an investigation is currently ongoing into the death of an adult male in Manchester, New Hampshire.

On Thursday, March 14, 2019, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Manchester police officers responded to 219 Sagamore Street for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound. That adult male died from his injuries. His identity is being withheld until his next of kin can be notified. An autopsy will be performed by the New Hampshire Chief Medical Examiner's Office. Another male individual at the scene also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The police believe they have identified all the parties involved in the incident and there is no evidence to suggest that there is a threat to the general public. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
