Concord, NH – Today, New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announced that he has named Kate Spiner as the first Director of Communications for the New Hampshire Department of Justice.

"Adding a Director of Communications at the Department of Justice will help us better serve the people of New Hampshire by enhancing transparency and our ability to provide information to the public quickly and effectively," said Attorney General MacDonald.

"We have an obligation to address the public's right to know and Kate Spiner will provide the support we need to appropriately communicate information in developing cases as well as the important work done across the Department on behalf of the State of New Hampshire."

Kate Spiner previously served as the Director of Communications for the New Hampshire Senate and has prior experience helping private clients with public relations and communications needs. She holds a degree in English and Communications from Saint Anselm College and is a life-long New Hampshire resident.
