Phillip Nash Taken Into Custody in Virginia

Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and State Police Colonel Christopher Wagner announce that a man wanted in New Hampshire for Theft has been taken into custody in Virginia.

Last night, Phillip Nash, formerly of Canterbury, New Hampshire, was taken into custody in Emporia, Virginia. New Hampshire law enforcement authorities had been looking for Mr. Nash in connection with two stolen vehicles.

It is expected that Mr. Nash will be arraigned later today in Virginia on a Fugitive from Justice charge and held in Virginia while awaiting extradition proceedings.

Additional information will be provided when possible, consistent with our obligation to ensure the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
