Arrest of Patina Welch - June 2014 Lyman Infant Fatality

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and State Police Colonel Robert L. Quinn announce that Patina Welch, 29, of 310 Quebec Road, Lyman, New Hampshire was arrested this morning in Concord. Ms. Welch has been charged with Second Degree Murder for recklessly causing the death of her 4-month old son on June 18, 2014, in Lyman, New Hampshire under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life. Ms. Welch has also been charged with First Degree Assault for recklessly causing serious bodily injury to her 4-month old daughter on June 18, 2014, in Lyman, New Hampshire.

The arraignment is anticipated for Thursday, October 16, 2014, at the 2nd Circuit Court in Plymouth, New Hampshire at 1 pm.
