New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Robert L. Quinn, and Barrington Police Chief Richard Conway announce that an apparent murder-suicide is currently being investigated in the Town of Barrington. The bodies of an adult male and an adult female were discovered today inside a residence in Barrington. The preliminary investigation and examination of the scene indicates that the male shot the female and then himself. The exact location of the incident and the names of the two deceased individuals are not being released pending notification of next of kin. The investigation of this incident is ongoing and no further information is expected to be released until early next week.
