Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella announces that a press briefing will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at the Incident Planning and Operations Center (IPOC) Media Room, 110 Smokey Bear Boulevard in Concord, New Hampshire.

The findings will be released regarding a fatal shooting incident that took place on April 9, 2022, in Derry, New Hampshire. In that incident, a private citizen exchanged gunfire with Christopher Coppola (age 43) outside the private citizen's home, and three officers from the Derry Police Department who responded to that active shooter situation subsequently also exchanged gunfire with Mr. Coppola. Mr. Coppola was shot and killed during this incident.

It is anticipated that the briefing will last about half an hour. A copy of the final report, as well as images and video recordings presented at the briefing, will be available on the Department of Justice website, https://www.doj.nh.gov/multimedia/index.htm, at the start of the briefing.
