Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella announces that Lance Goodrich, age 36, has been indicted on multiple charges in connection with the shooting death of Brooke Goodrich, age 25, in Orford, on November 20, 2021.

On August 19, 2022, the Grafton County Grand Jury returned indictments charging Mr. Goodrich with one count of first-degree murder for purposely causing Ms. Goodrich's death by shooting her. The grand jury also indicted Mr. Goodrich on an alternative count of second-degree murder for recklessly causing the death of Ms. Goodrich under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life, by shooting her.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations, and Mr. Goodrich is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
