Press Briefing on the Officer-Involved Shooting that Occurred on June 14, 2021, in Pittsfield, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella announces that a press briefing will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at the Incident Planning and Operations Center (IPOC) Media Room, 110 Smokey Bear Boulevard in Concord, New Hampshire.

The findings will be released regarding the officer-involved shooting that took place on June 14, 2021, in Pittsfield, New Hampshire. In that incident, three officers from a multi-department tactical unit fired less-than-lethal firearms at Anthony Hannon (age 52), and six different officers from the same unit fired lethal firearms at Mr. Hannon. Mr. Hannon was shot and killed during this incident.

It is anticipated that the briefing will last about an hour. A copy of the final report, as well as images and video recordings presented at the briefing, will be available on the Department of Justice website, https://www.doj.nh.gov/multimedia/index.htm, at the start of the briefing.
