Arrest Made in Winchester Homicide Investigation

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes, and Winchester Police Chief Erik Josephson, announce that an arrest has been made in connection with the suspicious death investigation in Winchester, New Hampshire.

Today, shortly after 11:30 a.m., officers from the Winchester Police Department responded to 484 Scofield Mountain Road in Winchester for a welfare check. Officers on scene discovered a deceased adult male in the residence who has been identified as Timothy Hill, age 72. It is anticipated that an autopsy will be conducted on Mr. Hill on Thursday, July 14, 2022.

Keegan Duhaime, age 26, of Winchester, New Hampshire, has been arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder for knowingly causing the death of Mr. Hill by shooting him and one count of second-degree murder for recklessly causing the death of Mr. Hill under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life, by shooting him. Mr. Duhaime is the grandson of Mr. Hill's wife, and resided at 484 Scofield Mountain Road with Mr. Hill.

It is anticipated that Mr. Duhaime's arraignment will be conducted on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the Cheshire County Superior Court in Keene at a time to be scheduled by the Court.

The charges and allegations against Mr. Duhaime are merely accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
