Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella, State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes, and Windham Police Chief Michael Caron announce that the victim of the homicide currently under investigation in Windham, New Hampshire has been identified as Edward Johnson (age 37), of Brooklyn, New York.
At approximately 7:00 a.m. on June 2, 2022, Mr. Johnson was found deceased near the intersection of West Shore and Woodvue Roads.
On June 3, 2022, an autopsy was completed by Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jennie Duval. Dr. Duval determined that Mr. Johnson's cause of death was gunshot wounds to the head, and that the manner of death was homicide.
The circumstances surrounding this death are being actively investigated.
