Further Information Regarding Deceased Male Found in Haverhill, New Hampshire on January 31, 2022

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella and State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes announce the following information in connection with the discovery of a deceased adult male in Haverhill, New Hampshire on January 31, 2022.

On that morning, the Haverhill Police Department responded to a local business, and inside found the deceased body of Victor Maldonado (age 19).

Chief Medical Examiner Jennie Duval has concluded that Mr. Maldonado died from self-inflicted stab wounds. Based on the investigation conducted into Mr. Maldonado's death, he entered the business after-hours, and while inside alone in the business he acquired a knife and killed himself. His dead body was found by employees of the business when it reopened on the morning of January 31.
