Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella announces the receipt of a private letter ruling from the Internal Revenue Service and the issuance of the Attorney General's report regarding the New Hampshire State Liquor Commission's handling of large volume cash sales. The Internal Revenue Service's ruling confirmed that the State, the New Hampshire State Liquor Commission, and the Commission employees are exempt from federal reporting requirements of large volume cash sales.
