Guilty Plea in State v. Iliana Nunez

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella and Drug Task Force Commander Ellen Arcieri announce that today, Iliana Nunez, age 48, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, pleaded guilty to three charges of sale of a controlled drug and one charge of possession of a controlled drug with the intent to sell and was sentenced by the Merrimack County Superior Court. Ms. Nunez was sentenced to 7 ½-15 years, stand committed, in the New Hampshire State Prison, with 3 ½ years suspended from the minimum, on each of the three sales charges. The sentences on the three sales charges are concurrent to one another. On the possession of a controlled drug with the intent to sell, Ms. Nunez was sentenced to 3 ½ -7 years in the New Hampshire State Prison, all of which is suspended for 3 years, with the suspension window running upon her release from state prison on the sales charges. This charge is consecutive to her sentences on the sales charges.

A 2019 investigation by the Drug Task Force revealed that Ms. Nunez sold fentanyl in the amount of 30.01 grams, 30.27 grams, and 39.6 grams on three different occasions to an agent of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Drug Task Force. Ms. Nunez also pleaded guilty to possessing 79.2 grams of fentanyl, which she intended to sell to a New Hampshire-based customer.

The investigation and resolution of this case are the result of the collaborative efforts of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office, the Attorney General's Drug Task Force, and the Concord Police Department.
