Concord, NH – New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes, and Hinsdale Police Chief Charles D. Rataj announce that officials are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 12:53 p.m. today at a private residence in Hinsdale, New Hampshire on Plain Road resulting in the deaths of David Lent (age 47) and his son, Tyler Gilbert (age 12).

Based upon the information gathered so far, this incident appears to be contained and all individuals involved have been identified. Further, there does not appear to be any danger to the public stemming from this incident.

Additional information will be released as it becomes available while still protecting the integrity of the investigation.
