David Sweeny Arrested on Charges Related to Making False Reports to Law Enforcement as Part of the Ongoing Investigation of the Youth Development Center

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella and State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes announce David A. Sweeney, age 44, of Dover, New Hampshire, was arrested Thursday, June 24, 2021, on four class A misdemeanor charges of false report to law enforcement. This arrest was made by New Hampshire State Police as a result of the ongoing investigation into the Youth Development Center (YDC). Mr. Sweeney will be arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court today at 11:00 a.m.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations, and Mr. Sweeney is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
