Concord, NH – New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella announces that Bryan Croft of Boscawen, New Hampshire, was arrested today, pursuant to a 12 hour domestic violence warrantless arrest for multiple charges including stalking, and contempt of court.

One charge alleges that on May 5, 2021, Mr. Croft did after having been served with or otherwise provided notice of an order pursuant to RSA 597:2, issued by the Hillsborough Superior Court PNO # 2172140074 on January 27, 2021, which prohibited contact with B.C., or to come with 1,000 feet of where B.C. may be, did knowingly violate a condition of release when he had contact with B.C.

The second charge alleges that on May 5, 2021, Croft did after having been served with or otherwise provided notice of an order pursuant to RSA 597:2, issued by the Hillsborough Superior Court PNO # 2172140074 on January 27, 2021, which prohibited contact with B.C., or to come within 1,000 feet of where B.C. may be, did knowingly engage in a single act of conduct that both violates the provisions of the order and is listed in paragraph II (a), when the defendant appeared in close proximity to B.C., within 1000 feet at 55 Knowlton Road, Boscawen, N.H.

Mr. Croft is being held on preventative detention pending arraignment. It is anticipated that Mr. Croft will be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court and the Concord Circuit Court on a future date.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations, and Mr. Croft is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

This case is being prosecuted by Senior Assistant Attorney General Timothy Sullivan of the Public Integrity Unit.
