Arrest of Heidi L. Holt for Tampering with Public Records or Information and Forgery

Concord, NH – Deputy Attorney General Jane E. Young and Franklin Chief of Police David B. Goldstein announce that Heidi L. Holt, age 38, of Franklin, New Hampshire, was arrested today on one class A misdemeanor count of tampering with public records or information in violation of RSA 641:7, and one class B misdemeanor count of forgery in violation of RSA 638:1.

The charges allege that Ms. Holt forged a court order in order to make it appear that a New Hampshire Superior Court judge had "expunged" her previous convictions, and then provided the forged order to Google, in an attempt to have Google remove certain websites from its search results.

The class A misdemeanor charge carries a maximum penalty of up to one year of imprisonment and a fine up to $2,000. The class B misdemeanor charge carries a maximum penalty of a fine up to $1,200.

Ms. Holt will be arraigned before the 6th Circuit Court – District Division – Franklin, on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations. Ms. Holt is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

This case is being prosecuted by Attorney Joshua Speicher of the Criminal Justice Bureau. The investigation into this matter was conducted by Investigator Allison Vachon of the Criminal Justice Bureau with the assistance of the Franklin Police Department.
