Arrest of Concord Police Officer Bryan Croft

Concord, NH – New Hampshire Deputy Attorney General Jane E. Young and State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes announce the arrest today of Bryan Croft, age 39, of Concord New Hampshire, on several felony and misdemeanor charges. Those charges consist of:

  • One class B felony count of second degree assault (RSA 631:2) charging Mr. Croft with knowingly engaging in the strangulation of the adult female victim, in that he did apply pressure to the throat and/or neck area of the adult female victim causing her to experience impeded breathing, and/or impeded blood circulation, and/or a change in voice, and at the time they were intimate partners on October 17, 2020.
  • Two class B felony counts of witness tampering (RSA 641:5) charging that Mr. Croft, believing that an investigation was pending or about to be institute, did purposely attempt to induce or otherwise cause the adult female victim to inform falsely when: (1) on October 20, 2020, he told the adult female victim to tell State Police that nothing happened with regard to the assault they were investigating, and to suggest it was another who had made up the initial report; and (2) on October 22, 2020, he told the adult female victim to tell police officers that she was injured by falling into a lally column while moving exercise equipment.
  • Two class B felony counts of falsifying physical evidence (RSA 641:6).  The first count charges that Mr. Croft, between October 17, 2020 and November 13, 2020, believing that an investigation was pending or about to be instituted, did conceal and/or remove a baby monitor from his residence with a purpose to impair its verity or availability in such investigation.  The second count charges that Mr. Croft, between October 17, 2020 and November 13, 2020, did, with the purpose that the adult female victim engage in conduct constituting the crime of falsifying physical evidence, command the adult female victim to engage in such conduct, when he commanded the adult female victim to delete photographs and a video from her cell phone.
  • One class A misdemeanor count of domestic violence (RSA 631:2-b) charging Mr. Croft with recklessly causing bodily injury to the adult female victim by the use of physical force, when he slammed a door closed while the adult female victim's arm was in the door, causing pain and bruising, and at the time they were intimate partners on October 17, 2020.

Mr. Croft was a Concord Police Officer at the time the offenses are alleged to have been committed.  Mr. Croft will be arraigned at a time to be determined by the Court.
