Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes, and Jaffrey Police Chief Todd Muilenberg announce that an autopsy was conducted on Jake Seaburg (age 23) by Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Mitchell Weinberg. Dr. Weinberg determined that the cause of Mr. Seaburg's death was a stab wound to the chest, and that the manner of death was homicide.
Mr. Seaburg was stabbed earlier today during an incident that occurred at a residence on Peterborough Street in Jaffrey. The circumstances of that incident are under active investigation.
All relevant parties to the incident have been identified, and there is no evidence to suggest that there is a threat to the general public. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
