Disclosure of the Officer's Name from the November 15, 2020 Officer-Involved Shooting in Meredith, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald releases the name of the police officer involved in the incident that took place on Sunday, November 15, 2020, in Meredith, New Hampshire, in which David Donovan, age 35, was shot and killed.

The Officer who discharged his firearm was Meredith Police Officer Kevin O'Reilly, who was formally interviewed as part of this investigation this afternoon. Officer O'Reilly has been an officer with the Meredith Police Department for approximately 12 years.

The exact circumstances surrounding this incident remain actively under investigation. No further updates are expected until the investigation is completed.
