Vincent Marzello Indicted for Wrongful Voting

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Colonel Nathan A. Noyes of the New Hampshire State Police announce that Vincent Marzello of West Lebanon, New Hampshire, age 65, has been indicted on one count of Wrongful Voting for voting twice during the November 8, 2016 General Election, a Class B felony in violation of RSA 569:34, I (b).

The indictment alleges that Mr. Marzello knowingly voted twice in the City of Lebanon, during the November 8, 2016 General Election, by voting once as Vincent Marzello and once as Helen Elisabeth Ashley.

In addition, the Attorney General has brought a civil enforcement action against Mr. Marzello, pursuant to RSA 659:34, I (c), for applying for and obtaining a ballot in a name other than his own during the November 8, 2016 General Election, by using the name Helen Elisabeth Ashley.

Mr. Marzello is scheduled to be arraigned on December 14, 2020 in Grafton County Superior Court.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations and Mr. Marzello is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
