Public Comments Now Accepted by Director of Charitable Trusts Regarding Endowment Funds of Crotched Mountain Foundation

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces that the Director of Charitable Trusts is now accepting public comments regarding Crotched Mountain Foundation's use of its endowment funds as part of its proposal to wind down some of its staffed residential programs. The Foundation's proposal is set forth in a petition for declaratory judgment, which was filed in the New Hampshire Circuit Court, 6th Circuit Probate Division. The Attorney General's Charitable Trusts Unit represents the public interest in that case.

Crotched Mountain Foundation's petition can be viewed on the Attorney General's website at https://www.doj.nh.gov/charitable-trusts/. Comments may be submitted to the Director of Charitable Trusts on or before Thursday, October 1, 2020, either by email at charitabletrusts2@doj.nh.gov or by regular mail to:
