Christina Lariviere, Former In-Home Caregiver, Arrested for Forging Checks

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Pelham Police Chief Joseph A. Roark announce that Christina Lariviere (aka Christina Soleil), age 35, was arrested on January 30, 2020, and charged with four class B felony counts of check forgery, in violation of RSA 638:1, I, III(b).

The charges allege that in November 2019, Ms. Lariviere knowingly altered, without authority, the writings on four personal checks belonging to three residents of elderly housing apartments in Pelham, New Hampshire. Ms. Lariviere altered the checks by changing the original payee name to her own name, and on two of the checks, also changing the payment amounts to reflect higher monetary amounts. During this time, Ms. Lariviere was employed as an in-home caregiver, providing services to another resident of the elderly housing apartments. Ms. Lariviere is no longer working as an in-home caregiver.

Ms. Lariviere was arraigned on January 30, 2020 in the Hillsborough County Superior Court-Southern District, and held on $5,000 cash surety bail at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations, and Ms. Lariviere is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

This matter was investigated by the Pelham Police Department, and is being prosecuted by Assistant Attorney General Bryan J. Townsend, II, of the Elder Abuse and Financial Exploitation Unit of the Attorney General's office.
