Santo Baez-Arias Indicted on Drug-Death Resulting

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Newfields Chief Nathan Liebenow announce that Santo Baez-Arias, age 40, of Lawrence, Massachusetts has been indicted by the Rockingham County Grand Jury for dispensing or selling the controlled drug fentanyl resulting in the death of Joseph Bragg on July 29, 2017.

Mr. Baes-Arias will be arraigned on February 21, 2020 at 9:00 A.M. in Rockingham Superior Court.

The investigation was conducted by the Newfields Police Department. Attorney Meghan Hagaman, Criminal Justice Bureau–Drug Unit, is prosecuting this case.

The charge and allegations are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
