Arrests Made Following Laconia Drug Investigation

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Laconia Police Chief Matthew Canfield announce the December 17, 2019 arrests of Stephen D. Brue (age 35) and Jean Loiselle (age 53) of Laconia, New Hampshire on drug related offenses.

On December 17, 2019, a search warrant was executed at the 19 Jameson, Street, Apt. B, Laconia, residence of Ms. Loiselle. The warrant yielded $14,000, approximately 1 ½ ounces of heroin, a gram of methamphetamine, and LSD.

Mr. Brue was charged with one count of sale of heroin. Mr. Bruce was released on personal recognizance bail.

Ms. Loiselle was charged with five counts of sale of methamphetamine and one count of conspiracy to sell heroin. Ms. Loiselle was released on personal recognizance bail.

Mr. Brue and Ms. Loiselle are scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. on January 20, 2020, at the Belknap County Superior Court in Laconia.

The investigation was conducted by the Attorney General's Drug Task Force with the assistance of the Laconia Police Department.
