Arrest Made in Connection with in Loudon, New Hampshire, Homicide
Concord, NH – New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher Wagner, and Loudon Police Chief Kristoffer Burgess announce that an arrest has been made in connection with the homicide of Colton Emery, 23 months, which is presumed to have occurred on September 24, 2019, in Loudon, New Hampshire.
Douglas Barton, age 39, of Loudon, New Hampshire was arrested on Friday, September 27, 2019, in Manchester and charged with second-degree murder for recklessly causing the death of Colton Emery, under circumstances manifesting in extreme indifference to the value of human life, by physically assaulting Colton Emery multiple times.
New Hampshire State Police and Manchester Police made the arrest.
The investigation into this matter remains ongoing.
