Arrest Made for the Murder of Marshall John Villeneuve in Concord, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Concord Police Chief Bradley Osgood announce that an arrest has been made for the murder of Marshall John Villeneuve (age 64), who was found dead in his apartment in Concord, New Hampshire, on Friday, July 26, 2019.

Joseph Hanright (age 29) has been arrested and charged with alternative counts of second degree murder, RSA 630:1-b, one for knowingly causing the death of Mr. Villeneuve by stabbing him, and the other for recklessly causing the death of Mr. Villeneuve, under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life, by stabbing him.

It is anticipated that Joseph Hanright will be arraigned at Merrimack County Superior Court on July 31, 2019. The charges and allegations are merely accusations, and Joseph Hanright is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
