Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher J. Wagner, and Newport Police Chief James C. Burroughs announce that the investigation is ongoing into a suspicious death in Newport, New Hampshire.

At this time, it appears that all involved parties have been identified and there is no threat to the public stemming from this incident.

We expect additional information will be released following the autopsy scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2019.
