Police involvement in the case began on the afternoon of April 11, 2019, when officers from the Hinsdale Police Department conducted a welfare check at the residence at 240 Plain Road in Hinsdale, and found the bodies of Neal Bolster (age 29) and Aaliyah Jacobs (age 19) inside the residence. Arrest warrants were issued earlier today charging Derrick Shippee (age 28) with two counts of second degree murder for killing Mr. Bolster and Ms. Jacobs.
