Autopsy Results in the Bristol Homicide Investigation

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher J. Wagner, and Bristol Police Chief James McIntire announce that an autopsy was conducted on Steven E. Hall (age 52), who was discovered deceased in Bristol, New Hampshire, on March 29, 2019.

Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jennie V. Duval has determined that the cause of Mr. Hall's death was a gunshot wound to the abdomen, and the manner of his death was homicide. As used by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, homicide is defined as the killing of one person by another.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr. Hall's death remain active and ongoing.
