Review of the November 18, 2018 Incident Outside of the Bonfire Restaurant in Manchester

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces that the Office of the Attorney General has completed its review of the incident that occurred outside of the Bonfire Restaurant in Manchester, New Hampshire on November 18, 2018.

The conclusion of the review, that the officers involved were justified in their uses of force and that the Manchester Police Department's review of the incident was handled appropriately, are discussed in the attached letter sent to Manchester Police Chief Carlo Capano today.

No further information regarding this review will be forthcoming while legal proceedings stemming from this incident are ongoing. However, once any legal proceedings have concluded, the Attorney General's Office will issue a final report on its review.
