Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces that a press briefing will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. at the Epping Safety Complex training room.

Assistant Attorney General John Kennedy of the Criminal Bureau will present the findings regarding the officer-involved shooting that took place on September 29, 2018, in Epping, in which Walter Welch, Jr., age 40 died from gunshot wounds.

Following the presentation, a copy of the final report and the audio recordings will be available in person and on the New Hampshire Department of Justice website, www.doj.nh.gov.
