Death in Dover, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Dover Police Chief William M. Breault announce that an investigation is currently ongoing into the death of an adult male in Dover, New Hampshire.

On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Dover police officers responded to 31 Cocheco Street. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound. That adult male died from his injuries. His identity is being withheld until his next of kin can be notified. An autopsy will be performed on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, by the New Hampshire Chief Medical Examiner's Office.

The police believe they have identified all the parties involved in the incident and there is no evidence to suggest that there is a threat to the general public. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
