Arrest of Richard Ellison for 2005 murder in Concord, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Concord Police Chief Bradley Osgood announce that there has been an arrest made in a 2005 Concord murder case.

Earlier today, Richard Ellison (age 45) was arrested on one count of knowing first-degree murder and one alternative count of reckless second-degree murder for causing the death of Robert McMillan (age 84) on December 9, 2005 at 282/284 North State Street in Concord, New Hampshire.

Mr. McMillan died as a result of a fire at his Concord home. Mr. Ellison has been charged with starting that fire and causing Mr. McMillan's death.

Mr. Ellison will be arraigned on the murder charges today, October 12, 2018, at the 6th Circuit District Court in Concord at 2:30 p.m.
