Arrest of Paul Dimick for the Murder of Justin Lee

New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Manchester Police Chief Carlo Capano announce that Paul Dimick (age 26) has been arrested and charged with Reckless Second-Degree Murder for causing the death of Justin Lee (age 32) under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life. Dimick was also arrested on one count of being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon.

Manchester Police Officers discovered Justin Lee suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of Hanover and Lincoln Street just before 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018. Lee was transported to Elliott Hospital where he later died. An autopsy determined that Lee died of a single gunshot wound to the chest with the manner of death being homicide.

Manchester Police received a tip that Paul Dimick was in the area of East High and Malvern Street. Dimick was seen exiting a house on East High Street and was taken into custody without incident this afternoon. Mr. Dimick is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges in the Hillsborough County Superior Court, Northern District, Thursday, September 13, 2018, at 1:30 p.m.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations, and Mr. Dimick is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
