Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher J. Wagner, and Salem Police Chief Paul T. Donovan announce that an autopsy has been conducted and the identity determined of a deceased female found inside a Salem residence on August 15, 2018.

The deceased female has been identified as Florence Cotter (age 87). After an investigation into the circumstances of her death, including the autopsy findings, her death was likely due to a medical issue and not the result of criminal activity.
